About Sarah

Sarah’s passion lies with projects that make a tangible difference by combining the shortest project lead times with the delivery of quality outcomes. Sarah helps to create contracts which avoid disputes and release collaborative opportunities. She also facilitates collaboration between contract partners in the live environment, encouraging nascent relationships to flourish.

Infrastructure owners struggle with ageing infrastructure that needs renovation. They are increasingly aware that traditional contract practices, which focus on risks and liabilities, are often poor value and by themselves do not solve problems nor accelerate project delivery. However, collaborative blended contracts, in addition to Project Portfolio FLOW techniques, get more projects done with scarce professionals. Sarah is your experienced partner in this.

Sarah is a UK solicitor-advocate (2001, 2007) specialising in construction, engineering and infrastructure projects. Her niche practice in project management (CAPM-PMI®) gives her a useful and unusual technical edge. She has had a tri-partite legal career: City of London law firms, senior Counsel in-house posts for both client (London Underground and TfL) and professional services provider (WSP|Parsons Brinckerhoff) and, since 2014, practices independently.

Sarah volunteers at PMI UK and global Chapters and APM (nominated for Volunteer of the Year 2021) and is a Governor of 8 years to her local primary school. She speaks at educational establishments on careers and mentoring and has judged several Enactus UK and global competitions.

Sarah´s strapline is “Making law work for the construction and engineering industry”. She has an international client base, thanks in part to the fact that she speaks several languages.

Sarah is a mum of 2, and they and her partner live in Battersea, London, a short bicycle ride from the iconic Power Station and the River Thames.
